Is there a system for automating door painting on a conveyor line?

For production facilities with a conveyor, we offer a fully automatic door-specific painting system. Lesta Easy PROG PORTAL is equipped with a laser portal that scans each individual piece, automatically generates the painting path and paints the door. The operator only needs to supervise the process and assess the quality of the operation.

Can the process be automated even if my plant does not have a conveyor?

For plants without a conveyor, we recommend Easy PROG 3D scan for automated door painting – a dual-arm turntable robot equipped with a 3D scanner. Each arm of the turntable has an integrated automatic door rotator. Doors simply need to be loaded by the operator; as they rotate they pass under the scanner, which acquires the shape and features of each door, the software automatically generates the painting path and the robot paints.

Are there simpler or more compact solutions?

Where space is limited or the simplest possible system is required, we recommend installing the Lesta LEBOT MV A6 robot with a front-mounted door rotator. The painting of the first door is recorded, including the door rotation, creating a programme that covers both faces of the door.

What types of doors can these robotic systems handle?

They are suitable for wooden doors of all types, including mortised, perforated, panelled doors and many more.
